I saw another post about brakes and searched Brit Car UK for pads to check prices. They offer the OEM pads and a second choice made by Mintex. The Mintex brakes are less than a third of the price of OEM. I had never heard of them. A search on the forum for "Mintex" yielded no results. They appear to be made in the UK.

Does anyone know anything about Mintex or have used their pads?

 

Never used them myself but over on the Pommy forum they are a well known and reputable brand.

 

When I was tracking our other sports car, I used Mintex 1144 pads (a combo street/race pad) and they worked well both on the street (better than Porterfields R4) and on the racecourse...but they generated quite a bit of dust. (Kind of like the OEM F-Type pads that everyone complains about, hmmm)
