Brake pads
Hi, are your brakes standard as some came with a Brembo option?
For standard I've used Pagid and found them very good. EBC make decent pads also. Saying that, OEM are good.
Some forum members have used Akebono ceramics mainly for low dust.
Have a search as this has been discussed at length!
Hope that helps.

Just installed a set of Stop Tech rotors with Akebono Pads. I love the combination. The pads stop as good if not better than oem and with virtually no dust.
wheels are clean all the time now

I run Akebono ceramics for daily driving: low dust, no squeal, fine stopping power, lack much of an initial "bite" when braking. I am trying EBC Yellow Stuff pads for the track, and they are way more aggressive, but have other characteristics (dust, squeal, etc.) that aren't as welcome on the street.

+1 on Akebono
Used them on my last 3 Jaguars, all x308s. One XJ8 and 2 XJRs. I use them with Brembo rotors. I also used the Akebono pads on my old BMW and Volvo. I have liked them for a long time.

Another +1 for Akebonos. Great 'daily drive' pads, very low dust, but beware they overheat easily if you push them, eg track work, 3+ consecutive high speed stops etc
