Mod week, feeding the addiction
I don't know about your area but around here (SF Bay Area) Things like that are very expensive. So personally I will probably just try to get a P7 bumper beam and switch them and keep my original in case I need to switch back or ever sell the car. Rather than take the risk of a shop screwing up the bumper beam and losing the time and having to buy one any way. That's going to take some decent fab skills and who do you trust your car to?
Is this the P7 number or the f-type number? A couple places I looked showed a photo of the bar and it looks like madman’s and our original bars with the mount in the rolled portion of the bumper bar.
T2R18829 Is available in the states for $399-$530 although I’m sure you would have to add $200 for tax and shipping but BRitcar shows it for $309 (no photo). Some of the dealers show a photo just like the one in your post where the block is in the curved portion of the bar (The p7 is basically in the middle) which is why I asked. I would not mind spending $425 from BRitcar SomO could put it back to stock, but would not be happy to open a box and see the same thing that’s already on my car.
Color sanded
Cleared and compounded.
Rhodium silver growler added
Checked with Brit-Car and the P7 bar is not available. I would be willing to pay $350 to have one but thinking I may just forge ahead with trying to relocate the receiver. That said, I’m likely going to drive the car as much as I can until the weather turns and probably do the grill then so I still have time to try and source a P7 bar from somewhere else. In the meantime, I did get the surround painted, color sanded, cleared, sanded again, and polished.

Actually, I dont really drink, except for the occasional fine import (Miller Lite) - that is a bottle of My My My Merlot from the ID channel - I was a fan of the Joe Kenda show and my significant other joined the wine club basically to get that one bottle. Now it is displayed prominently upstairs, the others reside in the downstairs kitchen and are usually given as parting gifts to anyone who visits. She wanted to purchase a single bottle, instead they sent 6 cases (6 bottles each).

T2R18756 is the surround
T2R18829 is the beam
Each is purchased separately with a valid P7 vin#
