Default Motor issue?

Hey guys I recently purchased a f-type 2016 v6 , I love the car it's a beast and a head turner !!!! I have a question i have the automatic and when I use paddle shifters I noticed the Rpm lingers when I down shift ... Can anyone tell me if this is normal or do I need to go to dealer to get fixed , it used to shift fine . any thoughts ?

trying to decipher - are you saying that the revs don't immediately jump up when you down shift? Sounds like it could be a delayed engagement of the lower gear?

+1.
Not a motor issue...it's a transmission issue. Get it checked out soon.

I don't understand what OP is trying to describe either, but the ZF8 does auto rev-match when downshifting. There's no suggestion whatever he's describing hasn't always been present. I'm guessing it's normal.

I think it's a new phenomenon:"... Can anyone tell me if this is normal or do I need to go to dealer to get fixed , it used to shift fine ."

I believe he is describing a significant delay in downshifting.

Default Thanks guys

Sorry if I didn't explain well , when I put the car I. Dynamic mode and slap the shifter to sport and get on it it starts off great nice revs sounds strong downshifts like a Ferrari with the uprev and comes down quick. As I go the car then starts to hold revs when I down shift making it like my Mercedes e class which I don't like or understand I may be a transmission issue I hope this is better

Again, the transmission is not shifting properly when it warms up. Take it in for servicing.

I'm still not sure if there is anything abnormal here.
