Default MPG on Vegas run

Took a drive over to Vegas this past weekend and I decided to test oit how many miles I could get out of the Jag. I was light on the gas pedal most of the time, and did not go above 85 the entire way. Below you can see the averages for my trip there and my trip back. As expected, coming back yielded better numbers. Not bad for a porky V8. 🐖

Well, on the way back, the car was lighter, because you lost your shirt...

LOL if anything, it was heavier, because of all the food my better half and I ingested 😅🌯🍕🌮🍔🍟🍝🍛🍤🍣🍸🍹🍾🍷🎂🍰

The computer is notoriously optimistic by at least 10%. It's been reported here many times.

+1. Looks more dated than the ‘16, but I don’t think the earlier models looked like that either.

. I don't have any car plan graphics to my recollection. Maybe that's just for convertibles?

Looks identical to my MY15 (other than F vs C, MPG vs Km/100L and MPH vs KPH).
So it's either a 13, 14 or 15 MY.

I am assuming the two check marks mean both passengers have their seatbelts on? Seems like a lot of info to convey when there's just two people in a convertible. There must have been great concern that this was known to the driver. It's not like there are untethered brats in the third row of an SUV. Maybe they could have but the oil pressure gauge there instead. I like the little convertible graphic though.

Yes, my XE has a similar graphic with 4 (or 5?) positions. Your coupe doesn't have that display?

Yes, there you can see that both driver and passenger are wearing their seat belts and the kid is securely strapped to the hood. Safety first 😉

Thought Eco mode only works to shut down engine in stop & go traffic, hopefully doesn't shut down your engine while cruising on the freeways...

The Eco mode my Vettes doesn't have full engine shut down, but shuts down one bank of 4 cylinders & cruise with only the other 4 cylinders (indicated by V4 icon on dash) while cruising down the freeway. Gets about 31 mph if I set the cruise control at 75 mph on flat Texas freeways... (of course it's V8 is only 460 hp vs my R's 550 hp)

I was stopped when I took that picture. The "Eco" light shuts off when the car turns back on, either by taking my foot off the brake or because of the running air conditioning/heater.
