Hey everyone,

I'm looking for an answer to a specific question about that amazing crackle pop sound made by the F type. If a base model has dynamic mode and active sports exhaust activated, is the sound it produces any different from the S (assuming the same options are turned on)?

I'm looking to buy a base that has the dynamic mode and active sports exhaust options so need to know what you think.

No, there is absolutely no difference in sound, loudness, or crackle and pop between the V6 base and V6S equipped with active exhaust.

While, the S has 40 more HP, that extra power only arrives at around 5K rpm. Torque is essentially equivalent in the two versions of the engine. The engines are identical except for ECU programming.
