I switched mine out and it was a PITA really. The directions suck and it is a bit time consuming as you are near things you need to be careful not to damage. Such as those great speakers with the grills that rattle! The hoops I got were the entire hoop not just the covers. After it is done it seems like it was worth the hassle!

I swapped the black for the silver last fall, the work isn't too bad. You'll break the old ones as they come apart, and as mentioned you do have to remove the rear speakers to get to the bolts. As I remember getting the speaker covers off was the hardest part. Some of the speaker posts might appreciate responses while you have them out...

Lost hoop on 1/43 model. Any idea where to get 1? Aftermarket maybe? Price of car was $70 including ship from UK. So part should be less!
