Default Need Quick Advise, supercharger belt part #

so, my supercharger belt has flattened the grooves off the pulley side (from slipping i assume)...my supercharger spins free, no bearing wobble, maybe 5 degrees back and forth play (but i assume that is correct). so assumption on assumptions here i believe the belt from VAP was one of the slightly longer belts and has been slipping for the last few weeks causing this. my issue is i am trying to leave for Maine tomorrow morning and i need a belt locally, i know Gates part numbers have been thrown around but i believe most of those threads are about the 6cyl, so my question is and i would assume yes, it is the same belt? i am good with even finding the single sided belt and sourcing a flat idler pulley locally. This trip has been planned for weeks and i am tryin hard to still make it. thanks!!!

Do you have the new double sided grooved belt from VAP?

It’s same belt for v6 and v8. I got from Stuart the green one sided gates k080575hd.

yes, it was the batch that is possibly a few mm too long, causing slippage. Spoke with Stuart he is sending me a new belt but i won't have it for 9 am tomorrow departure.

ok, same part number stock, so i can assume same belt length with the pulley. K080575HD or 1475mm. sourced locally!

Now, someone who has experience a snout bearing failure or coupler failure what did the pulley feel like or sound like when you spin it by hand? mine feels smooth and easy to turn?

Josh,
By your description, the SC snout bearing is just fine.
