Default Need a Vinyl/Leather Bra for the F-Type

Before anyone puts it out there I know it will mess up the front of the car and does not look that great.

I am looking for a Vinyl/Leather Bra for my 2017 F-Type due to road trash hitting the front bumper yesterday on the way home from a car show. It hit hard enough to remove a section of paint and to break some of the clips on the shroud so I want it to cover it up until I can get it in for the repair work. I have a trip to VA and another car show coming up in 3 weeks if anyone can help.

Thanks ahead of time

After some searching, it looks like the usual suppliers don't make one for the F-Type. I expect that's due to the relative rarity of the car and the considerations you already pointed out in your first sentence. I guess you'll be in the "patina" class at the car show.

Why not ppf the front? That’s the purpose of the film.

Craaaazzy, I'm not looking at protecting the front anymore as the damage has been done. I am looking at covering the damage up until I can get the car in for repair. The shroud has been broken and a large section of paint is missing. To include all of the new rock damage and pin holes, I would rather fix the damage and then apply PPF over the corrected front end. I am basically trying to HIDE the damage until I can get it into the repair shop.

I would check LeBra and Speedbra to see if they have options. Lebra if I recall was the biggest mfg of them back in the 80-90's. I had a Speedbra on my Z06 but back 20 years ago they were like $600.

my bad...have to improve reading comprehension. if just temporary, could always use blue painters tape to protect the front...may not look as nice as the bra's but if no bra is available, something to consider.

There's something called "track wrap". Learned about this recently on a YouTube channel where a guy had to go a couple states over to pick up his new z06 corvette and drive it back home. He put track wrap on for the drive back to protect it ahead of it getting fully PPFed back home.

It's a clear stick on thing of sorts.

DMeister,
Thanks for the reply. I looked at the Track Wrap and unfortunately it won't work. The car is black and the missing paint section is gray so it will show right on through the tape. I am going to PPF the car as soon as I get it fixed and painted.

Thanks again

Post a pic so we can get a look at it and you'll probably get some better ideas on a fix.

Black Gorilla tape. Or one of those large joke bandaids they used to put on VW bugs. Hope you weren't chasing a championship class concours ranking.

Order some touch-up spray paint in your color and put a couple of coats on. Then clear coat it.
