It did howl. The sound was amazing. Somehow it just made me feel like I am down by Lake Como cruising past the lake with the sound reverberating everywhere. The car was an occasion. But the response accompanying the howl wasn't. I am gonna go again for a spin for sure!

Sounds like maybe the dealer turned on Active Exhaust but not Dynamic Mode. That's my hope, anyway!

Thanks for the reassurance!

It's mindboggling at the difference between the Lexus and the Merc!!

What an excellent and articulate comparison - many thanks for posting it. Never driven an E90 M3 so no personal experience to draw upon, but very glad the F Type stands up so well to this classic German benchmark sports coupe.

Thanks again.

That, of course, is from nearly 6 years ago...

Not to worry. I just figured you lived in a different time zone.

My 2021 R-Dynamic (380P) convertible is BRG with tan/ebony interior. Definitely chose the BRG. The tan/ebony came with it.
Was a little unsure at first being an old guy used to black, but loved it as soon as it arrived.
It is a rich color and the stitching looks really good.
BTW, the BRG is a wonderfiul color that looks different in different lights.
It has a lot of depth and you will find yourself trying to decide whether it is green or blue depending on lighting.
I remember BRG from way back. It was a darker green, similar to the color used on British steam locos.
Back then, there were no metallic super colors, just basic paints and finishes that needed waxing every few weeks.
Definitely go for the color combo. BRG is the right color for the F-Type. Enjoy.
