Default New here.

Hi all, just recently found this forum and I must say I'm very impressed, lots of knowledgable people on here and some very interesting threads.
My names Stuart and I live in Bristol England I have a 3.0 litre coupe in white that I purchased in June 2014, I'm very pleased with the car absolutely no issues with it at all, I spent about £8,000 on extras which bought the price to £59,000, I can't remember all the options but they included black 19" wheels electric tailgate glass roof etc.
I look forward to reading more good stuff on this forum in the future, regards Stu.

Click on UserCP (top left button in black bar), then click on Options. Time zone is at the bottom of that page.

Cheers you, from across the pond. If I ever get to ship my car to Monaco for a run on the GP course, I'll let you know to join. =) IN FACT... I won't post this to clutter up the main board, but enjoy the sweepstakes. =)

Monaco GP is my dream. Likely will be heading there for vacation this year, without the F however. Have to just look at everyone else's supercars. Bummer.

Just be sure to have a few days in Germany, where you can max out on the autobahns, or even, maybe, take a trip around the Nurburgring !

I started to look into this, as absurd as it sounds. My first look must have been wrong, because a long trek in a lonely shipping container *seemed* to be $1000-ish each way. Now, I know that is silly, but a Peugot for 2 weeks is going to be nearly $1000, I assume?? I mean, touring from the south to Cassis, Bandol, or up through the Luberon. Or to Burgundy. Okay I am quitting work today to research lol

Wow, let me know what you find out... To get mine from PA to FL, flatbed costs are around $1000. If this is true, it may be much more feasible than I thought

$1000 each way sounds about right. But expect a few weeks at sea each way. Then there is the customs paperwork if they even let it in.

A friend did one of the round-the-world cruses on a Cunard ship. On-board was a Ferrari which was unloaded at almost every port the ship visited. The owner's ambition was to drive his car on every continent (except Antarctica).
Given the high cost of car rental on the Continent I think break-even on transatlantic shipping is probably 3-4 weeks of rentals. Spend the summer in Europe and take your F-Type along. I wonder what insurance would cost??

These last few posts have me grinning ear to ear. The rub is the time without it back home, but this actually would encourage taking a longer vacation to break even. LOL!!!

(I kid. I know the math is specious) =^D
