Default New here quick exhaust question

Just sold my 2013 yellow boxster and got a Italian racing red 2015 f type base 6 cylinder 340hp coupe

love everything about the car except two

need to upgrade my 18 wheels to 20 advise on ride quality only upgrading to oem there is one set locally available

unfortunately the car did not have the exhaust option need more noise from the exhaust

read through the forums that I can change the muffler to the active muffler without the switch and it changes the sound to what I am looking for

any ideas advise shops who would do it not looking for after market

any advise appreciated

I was sort of stuck on orange but eventually settled for Italian racing red

The old

The new

I think most people here would steer you to VAP.

Do you have Fuse 43 in the fuse panel located under the passenger's foot well? If so, pull it out and see if your exhaust opens up.

Beautiful car.

The ride on OEM 20"s in the base is hard. I'd suggest look at some aftermarket wheels and better tyres. I went from 19"s to 21" Vorsteiners with Michelin tyres and the ride is essentially the same or better than it was on the OEM's. If you want to see how they look with IRR, there is a pic at post 71 here https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...-203974/page4/
