Default New to Jags gots to tel somone

I recently purchased a used 2017 Jag F type S AWD and I gots to tel someone I love this car. I have been around a long time and purchased a lot of purpose need cars from Chevy Chevette to Shelby Cobra 427 S/C's
and this car has it all. It is a smooth boulevard cruzer that 'oozes' down the road' but put it in Dynamic and use the paddle sifters and it puts its ears back and the claws come out.
Man I love this car.

After 4 years that feeling hasn’t worn off.

Welcome to a very exclusive club! I see you've already found the schizophrenic nature of the cat, ***** when cruising but a growling beast when angry! The only downside to the car is the painful face muscles caused by all that grinning. Enjoy! No, continue to enjoy!

Really the only car I've ever owned that just puts a grin on my face. 4 wheel fun, enjoy your ride!

Congrats, Johnny and welcome to the forum. I hope you like talking to strangers. I've never owned a car that has elicited as many compliments.

+1.
I just had someone follow me for 3 blocks taking a video of the car. Then stopped by the post office to drop off a couple of letters and it then took me 20 minutes to extract myself from the ensuing conversations. Except for the Britcar gathering I have only seen one other F-Type in the last 6 months. Rare as hen’s teeth.

The coolest, most encouraging instance for me was when a boy of about or seven or eight came running across a parking lot, eyes wide and says "Wow, what kind of car is that?" I wanted to offer the kid a ride but was afraid (this day and age) of his parents thinking I was some kind of pervert or pedo.

Cant get a good picture. The car is too shiny.and I waited till it was dirty to tone down. And I thought my CTS-V had a bad *** stance.

My nephew is coming to town this weekend. He is in his early 20's, and seeing the car is all he can talk about. My S is debadged which makes it harder for people to figure out what it is while moving. It's pretty funny.
