Wanted to pop my head in and say hello to everyone! Picked up a 16' Salsa Red/Jet S two days ago. Smile hasn't left my face since. Usually I join these types of forums to check on ongoing issues but since these things are, from what I'm seeing, bulletproof, I guess we can all just talk about how incredible they are

Only way you could improve it is by dropping the top. Seriously, great looking car. Enjoy!

Nice color! And, matches what's used in most of the promotional videos.

I believe that's caldera red, not salsa.

Yes, they appear very close in a lot of photos, but in sunlight, Salsa leans toward the orange part of the spectrum, whereas Caldera leans more toward the blue part.

Yep exactly. Salsa had a bit more of a lively feel in my opinion.

Caldera seems even closer to Italian Racing Red than Salsa did. All look good, just close, and seems like a bit of overlap.

According to my dealer, he got a note from Jaguar factory that Salsa red was officially discontinued and replaced by caldera red since July 2015 for all F-types.

IRR is a metallic color and much darker. Caldera and Salsa are not metallic.
