Congrat's on the new ride!

I just traded my M4 and placed an order for a 2016 F type... sapphire as well.

Indeed, congratulations!

Don't seem to recall the Sapphire Blue - which I test drove in Convertible earlier in the year - being that bright; but it certainly is stunning. Reminds me of my old 1997 NSX in Monte Carlo Blue.

Best regards,
RJ52

It's very sunlight dependent. On cloudy days it almost looks black at times.

The exact same can be said about the BRG as well. I wish it were a bit brighter, but I'll be getting the BRG anyway.

I take it you were not happy with the M4? I really wanted to like the M4 however I just could not get over the shitty exhaust sound. Performance looked OK and it does have four seats. At this point in my life I felt I should not compromise. I was in the market for the BMW, 991s, F Type R, and C7 vette. I decided to drive the sexiest looking one first and never made it to the other test drives. I honestly didn't think I would find a used one this soon with a color I liked. Did my first wash today and the sun just won't cooperate.

Stunning color for a stunning car! Drive up to Maine, we have 50 degrees with bright sunny skies*.

Winter? What winter. This is Jaguar F-Type driving weather baby!

*Of course, it's not going to last but I'll milk it for as long as I can...

I traded out of my 2010 ZR1 for the M4, thinking I would be happy with a more practical vehicle - it took less than a week to realize that I don't need a more practical vehicle (as a toy)

LOL regarding the exhaust on the M4 - sounded like a faulty lawn mower upon start up.

Very excited to get back into a 2 seater V-8.

Again, congratulations on the new ride - and the wise choice of selecting the fastest color.

Ditto. At this stage in my life, the very things that make the M3/M4 such a great car (sports car performance with amazing practicality) is actually what makes the M3/M4 not a great car for me. But if I needed a everyday driver or had a son/daughter, hard to beat the M3/M4. Just saw a review of the RC F against the M4...just no comparison.

Agree. Had a 911 cab for my fun car AND drive kids around car (3 and 5). But was a pain in the butt getting them in and out. Was trying to be way to practical. I was even extolling the virtues of the 911 having a back seat. Just sold the 911 and went w a 4 door GTI for the daily and the F type for nights and weekends. Now everybody is happy.

I lied. Found a local dealer with the IRR sitting right next to the BRG. I want the IRR.
