New to my 15 f type v6 but find the auto shifter a bit of a puzzle on two occasions. Seems I got into a “no shift zone” when pulling out of a parking space and the shifter would not engage in either D or R. Solved the dilemma by going to park and then D. Driver error is my vote but want to put it out there. Thanks

Any chance you didn't have your foot on the brake? It would cause that.

Or not pulling the trigger fully? That's one of my occasional "faults".

Good chance for either one. Got a little flustered. Thanks
