Obtaining Monroney label for my 2017 F-type SVR
Hi everyone, I recently purchased my used 2017 SVR, Listed on Autotrader. I am trying to create a paper trail for my car. I'm looking for a US dealer Monroney label and build sheet. There's some questions about what it is equipped with. I do have a CARFAX listing it's journey since being imported into the US. I Would appreciate any help I can get. I tried a third party company for help, via my Vin# but it came up wrong, claiming it was a convertible.... it's a Coupe. I figured it was generic and it didn't really represent my car at all, later to find out third party service was in Russia. Thanks for any help. I did hear that Luke , (Luke2004xjr) really knows what he's doing. I tried to contact him, but as a junior member I cannot yet have access to contact him.
Mr. Obvious here but have you contacted the selling dealer in the US? It should be listed in the CARFAX. Back when I was in the car business the dealerships could get them reprinted from the factory.
Hi there, well it is as you guessed. I did contact the importing dealer and asked questions. They basically told me, yes they imported it in late 2016 and that it was Firesand Orange, that's it....even though they leased it out for 2 years. They said their database deletes after 7 years. Fast forward, I called Jaguar customer service in UK, they assigned me a customer request claim # and told me Jaguar executive services US would contact me. Executive services did contact me and I was able to obtain a build sheet, but no Monroney label help. I contacted a third party Monroney label service with Vin# and they sent me a generic label listing it as a convertible, along with other bogus data. It's not a convertible it's a Coupe. After reading a bunch of threads here, found Luke2004xjr may be able to help, but currently unable to contact him because of being a junior new member. I did find a picture on Monroney label questions thread #686 that is almost a perfect match to my car except Color and of course Vin#.
Try contacting user ftyperegistry. He obtains lots of details on F-Types and SVRs in particular. He may be able to tell you more about your car. I do realize you may not be able to contact him until you make a few more posts though.
Thanks for the advise, I may consider that. I would like to talk to Luke2004xjr first . From the work I've seen that he's done.... he's right on with his info. I don't think he rushes things and makes it right the First time. Been very impressed with Luke's work.

I ordered a Monroney label form MonroneyLabels.com and was disappointed. It looks nothing like the window sticker and for the SVRs, there are so few options that it's largely pointless. For the 2017s in the U.S., they came standard with just about everything. The only real options were the Carbon Ceramic brakes, the exterior Carbo Fiber package, heated front windshield, red seatbelts, colored interior and a spare. I haven't seen any that didn't have the illuminated tread plates, the extended leather and carbon fiber center console.
Thanks Rover Joe !! I greatly appreciate the time you spent researching the build sheet for my car!! We sure have an amazing group of people here on the forum!! Thanks again Rover!!!
Happy to help, I work for JLR so I have Topix access, glad to put it to use for happy customers from time to time, not just problem cars.

I have heard a lot about Monroeny labels being inaccurate. When we bought our F owners could access ToPix...no more.

It will probably come back at some point, we are still getting full access back to things that were turned off for the cyber incident at an internal level, outside store support is far down the list unfortunately.
I found the Monroney label was nowhere correct to my 2020 Checkered Flag coupe. The label looked nothing like an original Jaguar window sticker and was missing many of the options installed on the car. I found another source for window stickers somewhere on the forum (sorry I can't recall it as I write this). This one looked identical to the original factory window sticker I have for my 2007 XKR. Even this label missed some of the options installed at the factory and the cars existence remains somewhat of a mystery. The car was built in December 2019 just as the facelift 2021 were starting production. I contacted the selling dealer and Jaguar Corporate to see if they could shed some light on the situation to no avail. To make a long story a little shorter I finally bought an hour of time on the Jaguar Topix website and downloaded the factory build record. This matches what I have found my car to have in the way of options. I think there were numerous F-Types put together in odd manners over the years. The plus side for me was that I negotiated the car deal based on the Monroney Label and after all was said and done I have discovered many thousands of dollars worth of options no one realized were on the vehicle!!

Full disclosure, I charge $125 for it (takes hours to research and format properly) it will be in a pdf file plus ordered in high quality matte or gloss finish photographic paper. I have both formats pre 2018 and 2018 and up. See below
