Hello all. Hoping for some advice. 2014 V6S ‘vert. Always kept on CTEK. On my last two trips away, car was covered, left on CTEK. On return, after a week, CTEK was showing green complete light, but car gave the Low battery, please start engine message. Put back on CTEK, ran thru cycle to green light. Message reoccurred. Disconnected battery, reconnect, all right with the world. What gives?

 

Could still be a bad battery. Get it changed before it strands you or have it tested. Happened to me recently. If you start it up and it struggles. Don't turn off the car till your at the dealership or at the place to buy a battery if your going to install it yourself! I got stranded at gas station with an old battery that CTEK gave green light on and was always kept on it. battery was 6 yrs old.
