Why not make a consumer appeal and ask JLR to create a "PHOTOSHOOT" mode, with which you can set all these things with an app..

 

If you set double unlock mode (assuming you have that feature) and then single unlock, you can photograph the passenger side with the handle flush and the mirrors out.

I did this twice in my life [ owned 57 cars in 40 years, some at the same time..], first time two herons came by and **** on it... .. I hosed it off, to tired to do more..

Last time ; I was just finished polishing it, cleaning it, putting 2nd layer of wax. Then : dust from the Sahara for two days and rain.. ..and then I didn't wash it for a year, sold it..

Now I just drive it to a very sophisticated carwash that washes the clothe of the last 'towel stage' every week and replaces it every month.. .. no swirls or marks at all, costs € 12,50..

I'll go there tomorrow and post a picture afterwards..

 

Thanks for the feedback! It's still Utah, though. We've got a little bit of everything except for a nice ocean beach.

I made sure on the door locks but was too lazy to look up the procedure for doing the mirrors. I didn't realize there's the "hold both" quick option but you can it'll get put to use it next time.

This is genius! It'll turn the parking lights on, too. They could be useful depending on the setting.

I guess you are going by the sign/writing on the wall just above and to the left of the leftmost gas pump (pump # 8).
Yes, it does look a little Arabic at first glance, but to me it is capital C, lower case f and capital S each followed by some smaller lower case (English) letters.
I can't quite make out those letters , maybe C (something) family services?
