Not sure she knows what a trove is - "compliments came in troves". I wonder if she meant "droves".

To be fair, this thread is now 130 pages long - that takes a long time to go through!

IKEA is blue and yellow. Big orange shipping container is orange. F Type is white on red, with ostentatious yellow brakes. Lots of colours. Nice car. Had to take a picture.

Not related but possibly of interest to someone: my attempt at a solution for my passenger's cup-holder needs (fellow mt operators will be well aware of the issues inherent with concurrent use of cup holders and operation of the shift lever). The new cup-holder is intended for use on a baby stroller.

The body coloured front spoiler looks good for something different. Did it come that way?

Yes, it's listed as a "minor feature" on the vehicle summary.

Over time I've done a complete about-face on the body-colored trim (bumper insert, sills, rear valence). I now think that they make the convertible look more wedge-shaped and muscular. Bit of endowment effect maybe.

Still prefer the coupé looking sleeker though. Passed a white R coupé going the other way right before these photos, incidentally. Grin and wave. I've yet to come across another F Type owner who didn't wave .

Were ceramic brakes available from the factory with a manual in Canada, or is that a retrofit?

I've yet to come across another F-Type while driving my F-Type. I just see a bunch of 911s around here.

No, those are just the regular high performance brakes painted yellow.

Story: one sunny day I parked on the street near a yellow "kids playing" sign. The big steel discs caught the reflection, and I started imagining the calipers in yellow. Couldn't stop thinking about it. So I painted them yellow.

The MTs never came from the factory with CCBs.
