Some photos from Supercar Sunday!

One of the other F-Types had a custom carbon fibre steering wheel made for him in Dubai. Thought it was worth a pic.

I don't have many heroes that I don't personally know... but the ones from culture fall like this: Dick Feynman, Carl Sagan, Hunter S. Thompson, and too many other ones I am forgetting.

But, knowing it's not likely connected, what is the "4 Sagan"? I have to ask.

Aha but you were right on the money sir. It is absolutely a tribute to Carl.

Nice - you went past Mt. Elbert, which is the only fourteener (14433') I've climbed. Still trying to catch my breath, 20 years later.

I have to assume you've seen this "fan" (pro) video, but in case you haven't...

I miss him. His voice is always a treat.

He would have loved the tribute. =)

Every time I see Carl's name I remember the story about when Apple used his name as the code word for a new product and he sued them. They changed the name of the product to something like "butt-headed astronomer" in spite and it stuck. Still gives me a chuckle. The car had no trouble catching its breath. Even at that altitude, the SC was producing more absolute boost than OEM at sea level. Me, on the other hand...

Thanks yeah I have. There are few videos on the web that tribute him that I Haven't seen. If you haven't checked it out, The Sagan Series on youtube is excellent.

I'm finally ready to put up some photos of the most beautiful car in all of Phoenix, Arizona!
I got it in June but was waiting until I got my plate to post some sweet photos.

With the plate:

Not bad for a 24 year old college dropout eh?

It's pronounced "Firesand" with a British accent.

What's amazing is that you didn't black it out. Love the silver wheels - very classy looking. Firesand is one of the rarer colors, and I love it. (Almost as much as Salsa. )
