Default Offset and wheel spacers aftermarket wheels

Hi troops planning to change my wheels to either vossen hf5 or concaver cvr5
The usual et for aftermarket are et40 fronts and et35 rear but I know a few have put 15mm or 20mm spacers on with no rubbing issues
So in theory if I did say et30f and et25 rear would thar fill out the arches a bit

Actually I am running ET35 front and ET25 rear with no issues. I know others who have pushed out to ET22 or ET20 on the rears as well, depending on the width of the wheel. 10.5" vs 11" makes a difference when you factor in the offset. I would just get the wheels made the right offset versus using wheel spacers. I could not tell from your post if you were suggesting to get wheels with one offset and then use wheel spacers after? Either way. I have a little more room to push the wheel further out, but love the way it sits now. This is an older picture, but gives you a better idea on how flush they sit. 20x9 ET35 front and 20x10.5 ET25 rear with stock size tires (255/35/20 and 295/30/20)

Tks for info
I am adding a p b brakes kit front and rear so while getting new wheels I wanted to drop the offset to ensure def no caliper issues
I am staying with 9.5x20f and 10.5x20r with the standard 255f and 295r tyres
They suggested et 40f and 35r so was thinking go et30f and et25 rear does that sound right

Those wheels are very similar to what I'm custom ordering here in Europe right now, just different colour. What is the size of the center bore? Was it custom made to fit the F-type or do you use the spigot rings? Does that even matter BTW?

I'm trying to find out what is the minimum ET I can order so I get the more muscular stance but at the same time don't over do it and get the ugly look. Also don't want tyres to rub at all. The wheels and tyres size will otherwise be OEM 20". Yours looks really nice, something I'd like to achieve as well. Do you get any rubbing on speed bumps, full lock or anywhere else? Would you happen to have more pics from three quarters behind as well as front?

How did you decide on this exact offset in the front and back? I'm asking because you didn't lower the offset equal amount front and back but you instead lowered the front offset for 20 mm and back for only 13 mm. What is the reason you didn't lower both front and back equally 13 mm?

I have nothing to add other than to say your car is beautiful.

im lowered on H&R and all the research I did. At +15 on the rear if I eventually ran 305 tires it could rub.

I have no running issues with stock size tires and full lock turning on the front.

Thanks for the pictures, your car is amazing looking.

What is the reason you didn't choose the same offset on both front and back but you instead choose 13 mm in the back and 20 mm in the front?

As I mentioned. If I go to a wider rear tire it could potentially rub so elected to stick with 25mm as others ran it without problem.

If I lower the offset the same amount front and back, let's say stock minus 10 mm, how is it going to look? I'm asking because I saw you went stock minus 20 in the front. Do front and back stick out equally? Would you change anything if you did it again?

the front offset and rear offset are different from the factory because the width of the wheel is different as well. With that said I would not have changed anything based on a ton of research I did originally.

At most maybe I could have gone to et22 in the rear. Maybe even to et20 but if I eventually run a higher width tire. It most likely with rub.
