Oill Fill
Made a dumb mistake
I didn’t check the oil level of the vehicle prior to draining the oil and have since discovered that the OK button doesn’t work how I didn’t notice that during the trip home, I have no idea.
And I drained the oil out and put roughly 7.7-8Qts in, however I have learned that the capacity is 7.25Qts for a 15R RWD. I should have done a more thorough search.
Im assuming I’m over as the engine isn’t as loud but is there any other method for checking the level without being able to run the scan? And does the car continuously monitor/Will it automatically alert me to an overfill? The car is going into the shop Tuesday as I got the dreaded manual shifting disabled + battery charge system inoperable. The dealer that I purchased it from has agreed to complete any repairs needed.
Thank you all for any advice!

The refill spec is 7.25 litres which equates to 7.66 US quarts so you have overfilled it just a little bit and you have nothing to worry about.
Warm the engine up, wait 10 to 15 minutes, then check the oil level using the dash read-out, it might show "overfilled" or it may not.
The car does not continuously monitor the oil level or automatically alert you to an overfill condition, the only way to check is the dash read-out or to drain and measure.
If you are still worried about it being overfilled then get yourself an extraction/vacuum pump (if you don't already have one) and extract a little, then use the pump for future oil changes.
