Default Okay to track without TPMS sensors?

I know that some BMW models will limit performance mode if the TPMS read low or throw errors.
I picked up a 2nd set of wheels that I will use for tracking the car, and am wondering if the car is likely to limit performance modes or enable dsc if it can't find tpms sensors.
I haven't noticed any add'l intervention as I've started on cold tires an waited for them to get up to temp, but I am not sure if the car will react differently to a total lack of signal (versus reading a bit low).

Thanks in advance,

Diallo

You'll be fine. It's not like you need TPMS at the track. Other than flagging a lack of signal, you won't have any loss of performance.
