My usual phrase is "still looking at the green side of the turf." And no, I'm not the oldest. The two who've chimed in so far both exceed me in age-earned wisdom.

I'm 75. About 3 months ago traded my 2010 XKR for a CPO'd 2016 F type R (12,000 miles). My daily is an MB C63S. Not sure which is faster.

I may grow old, but I'll never grow up.

So far, so good!"

If I live to November 4th I will be 71.
Bought my first ever Jag 6 months ago. An F type S AWD, a real departure for me.
Live in Chicago and drive it to the office every day.
Had 5" of snow yesterday and yes it is November 1st.
The guys that work for me think there is something wrong with me for driving it every day.
But they are just kids in their 30's.

As I JUST texted a friend who is going through some personal marital difficulties:

NO TIME LIKE THE NOW
YESTERDAY IS BULLSH%T
TOMORROW MIGHT NEVER COME

And, no, it’s not haiku (but true)

Carry on with the age thing—only a number—young, old; it’s all in the mind (unless you’re Unhingd in which case it might be in the “finger”.)

Ain’t braggin’, just fact.

Shall we also remember Paladin and “Have Gun Will Travel?”

Man..we’re really dating ourselves now Kemo Sabe.

(And we really could take this thread WAY off topic if we continue down this path.)

Just so you know what he's talking about. Third time in 3 years from playing softball 6-8 games/week. 66 years young.

For a moment, I was afraid the thread was going into "woke" territory. Not that there's anything wrong with that.........
