Wow. T. That looks gash. lol.

I was talking to Walter at Cars Dawydiak about making a project 7 like grille for us. I've not chased him up as I've been travelling quite a bit. He had a bumper from a damaged car and was looking into it. I don;t want the Arden/others mesh grille. It looks cheap. Need the Jag hex style and that is what is complicated to get right apparently. I've just emailed him again and will let you know his response and where its at. Int he meantime please remove that white vinyl before I puke. Thanks.

Yeah, guys. We need to figure out how to get the P7 grill to work. My salesman said he can order all the stuff, when I go back down there, I'll try and scare up some parts catalog pages.

Are you sure about that? The grill on the Project 7 looks like the same size and shape as ours. You just wouldn't have the single side vents, which is fine with me. I just want the center grill and possibly the front splitter. Plus the rear diffuser and maybe the side skirts off the Project 7!
Has anyone seen any photos of a production Project 7? I thought they where going to start deliveries in September? You would think some photos would start floating around by now?

I was told it'd be a lot easier to install the whole front nose piece with grille but its still being researched.
Personally I wan the whole front as I prefer the single side vents.

I might just end up running front plates then to hide the bar...

going to wait until the weekend, let the car sit in the sun...apparently that's easy way to heat the vinyl up so I can peel it off...

Heat gun, or even a hair dryer works great.

After all the stripes, stickers, and vinyl attached to the poor thing over the last many months, do you blame it?

I seriously doubt anyone is going to pick up a genuine Project 7 front end as a spare part, so here's a suggestion.

The X351 XJ front grille:

Surely someone could run a tape measure over the grill of an XJ, and an F-Type, see how closely they match up. If the XJ grill is bigger than the F-Type one then you are in luck.

If so, get XJ grill, F-Type grill surround, dremel tool, spend some time cutting & shutting.

Paint the beam behind the grille matte black to hide it, or get rid of the beam all together all together.

Will need some skills to make it work, but I think that's about as close to OEM as you are going to get...
