A few people have asked to do another OC/SD/LA meet so in order to make something happen before the end of the year it's time to plan a date!

The plan is to start at the San Clemente Cars and Coffee and then do a 70 mile loop around Orange County (similar route as last time) then finish the day with lunch somewhere. Even if it this doesn't turn into a big event due to everyone's holiday plans, it will still be nice to make something happen since its been almost 4 months since the first one. The poll will close next Wednesday so please vote ASAP

Damn. Was working in SJC/Dana Point 12th-18th, now bumped to 18th-25th.

 

Go there a couple days early. Take some comp time.

 

I'm moving cross country the week before and might have to work on Saturday late morning/early afternoon. What time are you guys meeting up?

 

Probably around 8 or 9am. It’s all going to depend on how many people sign up. If it’s a smaller group maybe we’ll just do SC cars and coffee but if we have a 20+ group like last time we’ll probably do that same 70 mile loop and end at a lunch spot.

Bad news, I don't think I'm going to make it Saturday. I might be getting some things done to the car this weekend. Feel free to continue the meet if you guys still want to get together otherwise maybe we can try again in the next month or two!

 

I would rather cancel then, since so few people signed up. Let's try for Jan or Feb and get a big group again!

I have hesitated responding because I wasn't sure I'd have a car to drive this weekend. My XKR has been in the shop for the past 3 weeks with a misfiring, flooding problem, and my Pantera which I would have substituted is up and running but the interior is not quite finished and hasn't been delivered back to me yet. i begged to get it back Friday, but haven't heard yet. In January would be best for me as February i have to fly to Canada for a week and the rest of the month is spent preparing for about 400 guests for my daughter's wedding. I vote January.

 

So, in the end, is this drive happening this weekend or not?
