Hello all! I've got a bit of a project that I was wanting to do. I recently bought a F-Type Premium (which I love), but it doesn't have rear parking sensors/backup camera/blind spot monitoring, all features that I want. I've read a few other forum posts and from what I understand is that all connections are already there, you just need the new harnesses and CCF modification. I've compiled a list of all the parts I have to get and have been trying to find someone to edit the CCF for me so that the car acknowledges the changes. However, everyone that I've contacted has told me that its a horrible idea and that once you start changing things you'll have endless electrical issues that you'll never be able to solve. I'd really like to stick to OEM style installs if at all possible, but if its going to be a nightmare then I could always go with a NavTV system. Should I give this up or pull the trigger and worry about the CCF later, or should I go with NavTV?
