I'd like your unvarnished opinion on my plates. When you see this plate, please tell me how you read it and what comes to mind. I'll follow up with what I was thinking when I requested the plates; I'm wondering how many people will be thinking the same thing.
Cheers,
Corey

Our Uncle Took Drugs Creating A Tradition?
Otherwise, why would we have the top down when there's snow on the ground?

Can't tell what you were getting at with the plate but its definitely the right color and model.
You want people to see your car or your plates? I never understood why people would want to drive peoples attention to the plates. Especially on a beautiful car.

Outdoor Cat.
As opposed to a pampered ***** garage queen.
We have a winner!
Precisely this. It seems I've chosen an obscure way to represent it in 7 characters. I wonder if OTDRCAT would have been better.
I've also received a quizzical "outted cat?" from a few of my friends. That lends itself to a completely different interpretation which, well, isn't what I'm going for. I guess the concept of indoor vs. outdoor cats isn't as immediate to people as I had thought.

Nobody is going to notice the plates before the car. But, consider the following note I received a few months ago (this being an outdoor cat, it's parked on the street. Heresy, perhaps, but I could also not park it on the street and thereby not have it at all). Perhaps whoever left me this concerned admonition will feel better to know that my cat is comfortable outside.

Yes, officer, it was an Orange Jaguar convertible. No, I don't know the license plate - I just remember it was 3 letters and 3 numbers. Yes, it could have been any of the hundreds of other orange jaguar convertibles seen driving around on a regular basis.

Yup. Bright orange car kind of makes it hard to blend in.
