Hi again everyone.

2023 convertible phone calls are so distorted in the opposite end impossible to have a conversation. I can hear them just fine, but on the opposite end they complain the sound is very distorted to a point where they can't understand the speech.

Anyone have similar experience or fix?

I've had that issue on my 2017 SVR for years. Not quite garbled but the person at other end struggles to hear anything I say. Too much noise and lack of clarity for my voice. I can hear them fine. I've had it looked at 2-3 times when it's in for annual service and been told 'it's normal'. But I'm sure it's not
I suspect the microphone is loose and bouncing around or faulty. I looked it up and on mine it's attached to the instrument cluster if I remember right. And a cheap part. Will replace it one day but not for around to that yet.

Yep. I’ve had the same feedback from people about calls from/to me in my 21 R coupe. I have the upgraded sound system as well - which is still poor generally. I hardly ever use the sound system though - the soundtrack comes from the exhaust.

Same Complaints. Now I say, "I'll call you back in a few minutes"

Quote: The microphone in the headliner is the most common cause. It gets clogged or fails.

First, check if it's physically dirty and clean it gently. If that doesn't work, the microphone unit itself likely needs to be replaced. It's a known issue.
The microphone is in the instrument cluster, very close to the gizmo that makes the turn signal sound.
