Default Photo(s) Wanted

After going through all 10 pages of the Picture Post Thread here (with some obviously talented photographers/photoshoppers; starting with DJS) does anyone have or have a link to some high res photos of a V6S Coupe in Stratus Gray with the Propeller Wheels? (Especially since my car is up for the winter...or until I have some clear, snow/salt-free, driving days ahead).

Best regards and thanks!

You're obviously suffering from withdrawal. I feel the same way. I'd like to go start my car and listen to it but I don't think it's great for the car to just sit there running without actually driving it to warm everything up. It's sad days until spring............

Obviously! Now I don't know about you, but there are bound to be snow/salt-free days in Maine - I live in Brunswick, Maine and work in Portland, Maine; both on the coast - and I will surely take the car out for a nice long drive(s) during the winter. In fact, I think I have made the decision to not attach my Battery Tender Plus at all this winter with anticipation of driving it here and there, even if it's more "there" than "here".

Good luck to you and others in snow-infested climes!

Best regards,
RJ52

Well...considering I'm celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday in Mexico (the country, not the state...and, no, I haven't spotted any F-Types here), no problem. Try me again when I am back in Maine.

Didn't you ever hear of Indian Summer?

This is the only picture I found of a stratus gray coupe with the propeller wheels. Photo(s) Wanted-image.jpg

Good luck, RJ! My car goes into deep sleep tomorrow. Perhaps we should meet up for a photo shoot in the spring.

It's a date! But do we really have to wait for spring? As I said earlier, didn't you hear about Indian Summer?

P.S. Good luck is right - and not for the first time either - as I "Googled" Stratus Gray F-Type Coupe and after hundreds of photos, not found a single one with the propeller wheels. Talk about rare...

One of the reasons I bought the car - versus leasing - is that if I wanted to drive the car to visit my daughter, who recently started medical school in Florida, without "worrying" about putting on mileage, I could. And, at some point, will.

I'll let you know!

RickyJay: Aren't these the propeller wheels? I thought these are the wheels on the picture I attached above?

Well, I did have some nice top-down drives on Sun & Tue, when it was 50s and 60s here. Not bad for late November in New England! But there's 4" of snow on the ground now.

Indeed it is Lovemonet, and I greatly appreciate the photo (and did thank you for the submission). Now if I could just get a few more, preferably high res....

Best regards,
RJ52

When I first moved here, close to 16 years ago from NYC, everyone I told that I was moving to Maine (and I mean everyone) said the same thing, "oh Maine is so gorgeous", to which I would reply "so you've been there?" And they all would answer, "no". Maine truly has an aura which, for the most part, is true. A naturalist's delight...and the occasional F-Type owner.

You're invited any time and, in fact, if I'm up to it - haven't a clue how many would be interested - I might have to host some sort of F-Type "event" like I did, twice (both major extravaganzas) way back when for a large (30+) group of NSX owners over 4 and 3 days respectively. Not sure I have it in me - and Maine is surely not New York, and vice versa - but anything is possible.

Stay tuned...and watch for moose (which, unless you're Downeast - up north - really isn't a problem at all)

RickyJay52,
It may not be Stratus Grey, but will Lunar Grey do? I had this V-8S convertible loaned to me by Jaguar USA, last week, and while I was at the track with my XKR Coupe, I got to take one lap in the F-type for photography purposes. Enjoy. And by the way, had my top down in my 2002 XKR convertible all day today in the low 90's in the San Fernando Valley.

No...but thank you! My intent, after looking at (mostly all) the stunning photographs shown on the Picture Post Thread is to have some high quality (res) photo(s) of MY car, a 2015 V6S in Stratus Gray (w/ Jet interior & Camel Stitching being a minor detail). Which is, for the time being, parked in my garage with cover on, waiting for winter...to pass. Or, subside.

Wishful thinking, don't you think?

Best regards,
RJ52

Thank you mshedden...

Interesting shot; same exact angle as the one Lovemonet sent (and thanks again for that) even if it's not as shiny as his (HERS). Yours, however, appears to have the "correct"- mine - color dash (Jet from what little I can tell). I also think it's mildly interesting how difficult it is finding a great shot of a V6S in Stratus Gray w/Propeller Wheels other than my own...

Appreciate the effort!
