Default Pic Request: Aftermarket wheels and stock height

I know usually when people get aftermarket wheels, they lower the car with them, just par for the course. I'm contemplating new wheels, but don't want to lower the car, as I think it's plenty low as is. Wanted to get a feel for what it looks like from others though...anyone match this criteria?

On OEM wheels, If you go aftermarket rims the same size as you have there's no difference, it's in the tyre size that can make it lower, that is what profile you want, I have OEM wheels but went up for bigger tyres, 295 to 305 and 255 to 265 and lowered
Before

After

Aftermarket 21's, stock height. Getting a bit of extra width on the wheel and tyre fills out the arches more.

Oh I know...but wheel faces can have a visual effect on how big the wheels look in relation to the whole car. Things like big lips, concavity, etc. That's why I wanted to see a few, if any are out there.

Gooday.

These are Vorsteiner VFF 103
Front: 21x9 +32
Rear: 21x10.5 +25
(255/30R21 Michelin Pilot Super
Sport)
(305/25R21 Michelin Pilot Super
Sport)

The ride is actually as good as the OEM was on 19s and it handles far better.

The rotors look lovely and they stopped fine but I had persistent noise issues with them (actually when driving, not braking) and just had them taken off. They were from R1 Concepts.

Fine! Did you get an alignment right after lowering? End plan for me is lower (probably VAP), 305/265, and 15mm spacers. My Avante's are factory size 20".

I think my aftermarket's with factory size tires on 20's look pretty much the same as OEM with regards to spacing and height.

You should ALWAYS get a full wheel alignment after swapping out the springs.
I did, some three years ago now, and the tyre wear ever since has been way more even than it had been beforehand even though fitting lower springs on the F-Type increases the negative camber which should in theory increase the wear on the inside edges of the tyres, especially at the rear where the camber is not adjustable.

They actually look better than I thought. Yeah lowering will always give it that more aggressive look, but I can live with this.

I am probably in the minority here. I actually think these cars look better at the stock height. Lowered, the wheels look off center to wheel wells and
to me make the car look like something is wrong. I realize there are times when you sacrifice aesthetic's for performance.

These car are low and I have enough worries about scraping going up my driveway.

Just got the correct ones on the front last week...But absolutely plan on getting it done a soon as I can. Does drive good now though Just want to ensure the proper geometry for wear etc...

Same as not positioning the wheel center caps so that the chin of the growler corresponds to the tire valve?
