In case anyone was wondering what the OEM “silver” weave carbon fiber looks like, here it is. Has a more pronounced weave, still black in color. I personally love it.

Harper dealer sent me 2 right side mirrors so no install pictures yet.

stock mirror caps were OK to take off except for those 3 clips in the middle. Some of them bent.

 

Interesting. I thought the silver weave used silver-grey cloth. It'd be interesting to see the two side by side in natural light. That doesn't look that different from my "black" ones. That's indoors and mine are currently in direct sunlight, and look more grey than those do.
