Default Please Recommend Best All Season Tires

Hello, all!

I have a 2015 F-Type R that I drive year round. I live in NY State and I am looking for the grippiest all season tires that are out there. Something I can rely on to get me through all 4 seasons.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Please & thank you!

Don

+1 on Continental DWS06+ (make sure it's the "plus" model).

+1 on the Continentals. Dry Wet Snow, not so much experience in the snow, but in a torrential rain, they were superb.

I've had very good experience with the top Bridgestone All Season tires (RE960AS and RE980AS), including Sonoma Raceway in torrential rain, but would probably go with Continental now, given the recommendations of forum members.

I run Michelin PS4 A/S on the Jag- great tires!!
We have Contis on the Audi.
If there is any noticeable difference, I would say the Michelins have a slightly firmer ride - stiffer sidewalls.
I think it comes down to which you can get the best deal on!!

I have RE980’s as my winter tires. I’ll probably buy DWS 06 Plus’s when they need replacing.

I’d run a set of PS4S’s in the summer even if I was back in Michigan. Well worth the effort to source an extra set of wheels.

Buy from The Tire Rack, get the free two year non prorated road hazard warranty. Take them to Discount for installation. Discount won’t be mad, they own The Rack.

As said above, the Continental DWS06+ are great. Went from the stock PZero's and these are a huge improvement.

Toyo celsius, look it a true all season, soft compound in the winter, then medium in the summer

As above, DWS06+ and no issues. They also save you about 3-5 lbs per corner...amazing. Not noisy compared to Michelins of the same mileage (ask me about how loud my prior Michelins got....very).

I also sport the SVR sizes - 265 in front and 305 in back. It is amazing on 20" forged rims. Ride is great. Spirited driving is spectacular.

Lot of threads. They go on special from time to time on Tire Rack....

We lived in the Portland, OR area for several years. We had an AWD Acura MDX and a Toyota RAV4. The best tires for wet, icy, snowy, and even mossy roads were Bridgestone Blizzaks. I bought an extra set of wheels for each vehicle, and ran the Blizzaks from October through April. If I ever had to live in an area with winter conditions, I do the same again.

oh yeah, and we lived in the upstate New York rust belt for 7 years. And the lesson I learned there was not to drive a decent car on the salt coated roads in the winter. I’d never live in an area like that again. We had several cars, including by beloved Datsun 240z, totaled from rust.
