Potential new owner 2015 R Coupe
I used to have an XK8 gone for a couple of years (my last post here was 5/2021). I just found a gorgeous 2015 F-Type R Coupe. I have plenty of reading to do here to get up to speed but a couple of pre-purchase questions to help me with making an offer.
1. It only has one key. Should I budget $500 for a replacement fob and programming? Am I way off with that estimate?
2. Does anyone have an extended warranty/service contract company they like?
3. The only two disclosed issues are the rear cargo cover is missing both the male post and female portions on one side of the front of the cover and the panorama roof shade seems off track and droops on the driver side. Are either of these known/easy or expensive gotchas?
Finally, is anyone else in Pinellas County, FL? Looking for service recommendations in Tampa/Clearwater/St Pete
Off to learn more about carbon ceramic brakes.....

You'll also hear reports of outrageous cost for pads. I got mine on Rock Auto for $70 per set.
I paid around something shy of $500 for a 2020 Ram Pickup. I would be suprised if you could get one for less at Jaguar (if you can even get one). Our new 2023 Defender only came with one key and we received the second one 6 months later from local dealer.
I don't have an extended service contract on any of my cars, but the guys over on the Porsche forum recommend Fidelity first and at less cost (and coverage) Freedom. It's the Rennlist Porsche forum if you are interested in pursuing.
The sunblind on my 16 R kept sticking and was replaced/fixed under warranty I think this is a known issue. Likely some threads on here to help, but I don't think it is a DYI.
I have carbon ceramics on my 18 SVR and despite all the naysayers about the brekes, I am taking my chances as I love the looks. I may never see 100k as it is a summer car at 5k miles per year.
Get some good tires on that rear wheel drive hellian.
