Problems with INAV head
Hi all, in April I installed an INAV system in my F-Type. The one that replaces the touch screen. I really liked it other than a few quirks. Today I took a short drive, shut off the car, turned it back on again and now I don't get the wireless carplay dialog. I tried to listen to music that is on a thumb drive connected to the USB and the head could not find it, this has always worked in the past. I tried plugging in the phone USB and that didn't work either. The radio works, the backup camera works. Non-carplay bluetooth works for music and phone calls. There is one song on the head when I select local on USB and that works, seems like everything but carplay and thumbdrive music works, the two things I use unfortunately. I opened a case with 4x4shop.ca where I bought the unit. They responded and had me check a couple of things. I responded and am waiting to hear back. Any ideas that could help me to resolve this?. Not sure how long the warranty lasts on this device. I posted a couple of threads when I was doing the install.
Update and question: I actually had not tested the USB when I posted everything was fixed. The USB is still not seeing the thumbdrive. Any ideas? Strange thing happened, after disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes which fixed the carplay, I performed a factory reset. In retrospect that seems like a bad idea because the touch screen stopped displaying anything in the middle section and pressing the formerly hard buttons on the sides didn't do anything. Now I was trying all of the templates and types, nothing worked. Drove the car the next day and it was magically all back to normal, carplay worked, original display worked but still no USB.
I am kind of OK with the USB not working, I only used it to play music when I forgot my phone but I would like to fix it if anyone has suggestions.
Then I was thinking of updating the android to see if that helped, I can't find any info on how to do that anywhere. Is that a good idea? Anyone have a link that might help me to that?
Thanks
MIke.

Yes and I am happy with it. When I got the car this spring my touch screen would not work unless I gave it a few wacks. I have a thread or two about my experiences with it if you search under my posts.
