Someone on the F-Type Owners FB Group, posted a picture today of a chat (first reply I've seen from them in a while) that said this. But then another forum member posted the following after. So I guess, take your pick, which one best represents your opinion on this situation.

It is indeed. I still get a chuckle out of it. All these stories remind me of when I ordered my 1st lower pulley from a vendor and got the run around for a few months... Radio silence till I put a paypal dispute in and magically they we're back at a computer LOL. it's a shame we have to deal with scammers in the community.

 

To surrender your hope is essentially admitting you've gotten scammed. It's a hard bitter pill to swallow.

I really don't think he set out to scam people. I think he had production problems and tried to tell people what he thought they wanted to hear and then just kinda committed to the story and got in too deep to come clean.

 

I'm probably stupid enough to order one on the hope he actually ships it.

 

I NEED to order 10 units QUICKLY! Hopefully he will send his physical address so that I may sit with him for a moment to negotiate prices. Payment will be made with K Rands not USD!

 

This is my thought too. It's unfortunate, since if it had worked out he'd have sold quite a few units.

Looks dodgy as hell to me, the price is too good to be true, and no provision for parking sensors or tow hook hole.

I was debating giving it a shot...but I notice some pics have the slot to put the jag emblem, and some don't. So I'm not sure which one they would even send..."IF" they actually send it
