Default Project 7 Virgin, No more.

Saturday was the day I lost my Project 7 virginity.

Back from the Lobster Run, Saturday was the first opportunity to take the Project 7 on it's first run. The weather was perfect, Roads were finally cleared of the winter sand and stones.

First impressions, the sound is fabulous this is so much louder than my R coupe. Hard to see the the power difference on the road, but the handling is superior due to tweaked suspension and track focused tires. There is a hair pin curve on my favorite route with speed warnings all over to slowdown to 15 MPH, I normally take this turn at around 30-40, in the P7 went straight to 50 mph first try. The P7 just took the turn like it was on rails, not even a chirp from the tires. My wife told me if I did that again she was going to puke.

I know if I get my wife close to vomiting, I am doing well.

Looking forward to next weekend...weather outlook is perfect and we have a long weekend in Canada.

Quote of the day! My girlfriend won't let anything close to fun happen in the car when she's in it before the griping starts. So she doesn't always get to go...

LOL . . . Sounds familiar.

When I tell my wife I'm running an errand, if she says she wants to go, and if I'm taking the F-Type, all I have to do is ask, "are you sure?" It took awhile, but the answer is now, "no that's OK." She has learned that's code for, "you will be subjected to G-loads you do not like." :-)

Now the above is not as bad as it may sound. If it's something fun, I do invite her along and promise her I'll be good. The only problem with that is I have a base without active exhaust, and I have no valves to close to make it quiet. It's too loud for her all the time.

So, that's what g refers to.

1.08 gags through the turn as measured on the spousal unit.

congrats Zach and I'm glad it's everything you expect it to be. Hopefully it keeps delivering that feeling of enjoyment each and every time you drive it. Good Luck next weekend with it on your trip.

Mine shrieks like a 150db siren and then punches me in the arm long before the vomiting can start......

Glad you enjoyed your P7. :-)

Great post Zach! My wife would likely have a similar thought but she did seem to take pleasure in getting used to the 3 digit speeds on the lobster run. thanks Jay!

Next thing you're going to tell me is Tamela is eating, enjoying and ordering lobster [from Libby's; like another Lobster Runner already has me doing].

Poor gas mileage, triple digits speeds, what else am I gonna take the rap for? Gaining 10 pounds in 3 1/2 days? (My guess is that's why Zach and Lisa left early; although they did stay for said Lobster Roll. I wonder...).

Yes Jay, clearly none of the rest of us had the capacity for independent thought.

The devil made me do it!

Thanks for a great time!

Ah yes, I forgot...I am [also] the cause of Unhingd's sooty tail pipes. Sorry about that U. Oh, and the very last thing I ever want to do is think; for myself much less others.

Personally, I'm glad my wife didn't join us on that trip. Otherwise I'd be sitting in divorce court right now.

I'm guessing Terry is glad too - 3 would be a tight fit.

I would have strapped him to the roof. He rides a motorcycle too, so he's used to eating bugs.

With Liz as her attorney! (Thankfully Liz doesn't do divorce law). I mean, was it really all that bad? I got us all through infraction-free didn't I? With perhaps lingering smiles all around?

Don't forget the cigar. Lots and lots of cigars. (Nice guy though!).

Just a little? I was hoping for a major paradigm shift. (I'll do better next time).

Be careful, you do not want to be the first one to crash a P7!
