Couldn't pass up this lease deal. Sold my XE R-Sport which I drove for 6 months. I won't go into detail on the numbers...I'll just say I'm pleased with the math.

Still getting to know this particular kitty, so for now, just getting the feel of the car for awhile before I become more aggressive with it.

I have to say that after I test drove one a ways back, I found the difference in build quality, cabin comfort, gear box mapping, steering feel, to be more than a couple notches above the XE R-Sport. The cabin actually feels less cramped than the XE. Nearing retirement age, I'll have the next three years to see if I get over this bucket list fantasy of an F-Type, although I have a feeling I'm hooked for life :-)

I'm picking mine up on Saturday. No valentine gifts for a while :-) I do have to stop spending 5-7k on stupid stuff every month. Amazon Prime 2 day is not good for everyone. Need trump to close Costco for selling all the cool don't need but why not just buy it non American stuff LOL

 

you won't miss the XE, for a variety of reasons, but one of them is that every time your F goes in for service they will plant you in an XE

Very nice colour. I got a Discovery Sport when mine went in for service. I hinted at the Blue British Design Edition parked next to mine but somehow it fell on deaf ears...

Congrats! Car looks awesome! Question: Can you get a 2017 R with the back pack (black not chrome around the windows)? When I try to build it online, there is no option for it. I'm thinking about trading up from a 2015 R to a 2017, but I need the black pack.

 

For some reason, the online configuration section is limited with option choices. I have a 17 R coupe, storm grey with black back. Looks amazing !
