When you get to the ambient light screen, you'll see the color control (colored ***** on a curve) and something else: 4 or 5 clock faces (looks like that anyway) half filled, 1/4 filled, etc. Not a word in the manual re: these, and selecting them does nothing.

Ding ding ding! Correct. The difference between each setting is pretty subtle, I just crank it.

 

OK, so does the full clock mean brightest or max dim?

Anyway, I had already tried selecting them and noticed no difference whatsoever. I'll give it another try tonight.

Full bright. (It's not THAT bright, so I'm on max)

 

Make sure you're not in Dynamic Mode, or have "Stealth" mode selected. If so, the ambient adjustments are ignored.
