Yup - those wheels are definitely horrible Recommend no one else orders them.

I really liked the silver centrifugal but I don't think they make it in 20" so I got the five spoke.

I personally don't like black wheels but that's jmo.

Default Stratus Grey coupe with Storm wheels

I found a Stratus Grey V6S coupe with grey Storm wheels. What do you think of the combo (attached)? I know it's a matter of taste, but don't the silver Turbine or Propellor wheels offer a nicer match with the silver window trim and side vents? Your views are appreciated!

(Please note that the carbon brakes are just a bonus for me, not essential.)

I am prejudiced as I fell in love with the turbine wheels the minute I saw them especially if you are staying with the chrome trim and side vents as on my R.

I have a Stratus Gray V6S with the propeller wheels and while there was a brief period of time shortly after owning the car - and especially after seeing all the other wheel options available - of switching, I am 100% delighted and thrilled that I have them. Especially after seeing that practically no one else, with a few exceptions, have them. Lastly, I LOVE the way they "go" with the [silver] window trim and side vents.

Bottom line is, as you said yourself, it's simply a matter of taste. YOURS.

I have Status with propeller, bought used so had no choice. Tried to get dealer to swap for carbon he had on a V8 but couldn't get him to do it. Not a big black wheel fan but the carbon are very different, been watching E-Bay for a set of take offs.

These guys sell refurbed Jag wheels, they have the blade fronts listed, probably can get the rears. $$$ but less than JLR for sure...

Blade wheels (front)

I'd love to have those, but they aren't offered as an option on the V6.

Neither are Gyrodynes, but I bought a silver set from the link MSHEDDEN posted above for $3K, mounted and balanced with the FYPE R-sized PZeros with TPMS sensors. My guess is that's half the cost or less than through a JLR dealer. They were terrific to deal with, and the merchandise was in brand-new condition.

I'd never seen the Turbines in pictures until LOVEMONET posted hers. I do like them a lot. Propellers are the closest looking std wheel on the V6S, and they look great too.

Waauw! I've got a Firesand with 20" Blade standing outside but I surely do love this combo.

*Mental note: Firesand + Orbit*

I'm partial to the grey gyrodyne.

The gun-metal grey Gyrodynes with diamond polished fronts edges are a very nice look as well. Beautiful car!

Foosh,
How did you get the diamond cut gyros on your V6? For '16 , they're an option on the V8 only. These are my Favorite of all the F-Type wheels.

Scroll up a few posts. I don't have the diamond cut, because I preferred the silver Gyrodynes on my white car, and I bought them used from the vendor link MSHEDDEN posted above. My car was purchased off the lot with standard 18" Velas that came on the base cars.

Thanks. Were you able to sell the wheels that came with the car?

No, I kept them, because I may put all-seasons on them at some point. The Velas looked nice, but the Gyrodynes really made the car pop.

Still haven't figured out how to post multiple pictures on here or make them full-size.

Was trying to give a side-by-side of the difference.

1) Just click on the yellow "insert image" button at the top of the message box. For the first pic use the "browse your computer" in the middle of the page. 2) You can then use the "upload another iimage" button at the lower left of that same dialogue box or repeat step 1) entirely.
