Does anyone know if the F type shares the same rear view mirror as any other Jag? I am interested in getting a blend mount radar detector mount which hangs from the rear view mirror. I have gotten it for my other car and it works great but they don't list the F type (surprise) but the guy said if it shares a mirror with another model jag it should work. Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

 

Did you see my post about my hard wire radar install? It's not a mirror mount, but it's still custom and nice.

 

yes I did and it is very nice I also hardwired mine so it is stealth and clean. Love that it is activated by the ignition but want the detector up and out of the way the mirror mount really keeps it clean. Good job on yours really like the work

 

If you get it figured out will you post pics?

 

I sure will working with the manufacturer now to see what can be done.

As you can see from the Parts Catalogue extract below, there are 5 different types of F-Type Rear View Mirror depending on market specification and further variations under each for automatic dim or garage door opener.

As you have no information on vehicle spec or location in your profile, it is impossible to tell which is fitted to your vehicle and consequently whether this cross references with any other Jaguar model.
