Default Rain

It's been pi##ing with rain here in NorCal and I've always like the look of rain on paint finish because it brings out a lot of contrast in flat surfaces.

Took my camera down to the garage and snapped a few photos after coming back from errands....

Kinda stole that 4th image for my iPhone 6+ WallPaper.... very hard to find such a great photo in the iPhone's Ratio and resolution.

Speaking of which, anyone else have any good portrait HQ photos they would like to share!?

On a related note, and I've posted on this before, but the heavy rain etc we've had over the last week or two does bring home just how sure footed this car is in the wet - it's proving to be very capable. Wide summer performance tires, highish torque and heavy rain don't sound like a great combination but the car sure does a great job in the wet.

I've also been impressed with the performance of the car in the rain, and we get plenty of it all year round. I'm also running the OEM R P-Zeros tires and wheels on my base V6.

It's hardly rained here for the best part of a year so we certainly needed it!

Yes, you did need it. I lived in Menlo Park from '79-'89 and lived through a major drought then. Water was rationed, and one received heavy fines for exceeding a certain quota. I spent a lot of time reading my meter, collecting water in the bathtub, and washing machine discharge water to keep my landscaping alive. It wasn't fun.

I noticed your camera at the Bay Area cruise and figured you were serious about photography and would produce some great photos. I’ve always had a fascination for photography and appreciate the desire for always wanting to find the perfect shot. Nice job!

Thanks! I normally shoot wildlife but....I guess the F-Type qualifies, since it's alive!

Couple other shots, given that it's still been raining out here....

The 2nd photo shows the new stance with the 16mm spacers.

My first year in collage at San Jose State it rained from Thanksgiving to Easter. I had a TR-3A with a snap on roof!

Great pics. Some look especially 3D-like, with the droplets showing an unusual depth. That black background on Stratus--nice touch.
