Rattle Clips on Brake Calipers
Just painted my calipers. Would like to know if you can drive the car without the Rattle Clips installed? Taking the car to the shop to have new rotors and brake pads installed. Not sure if driving the car 10 miles without the rattle clips is a bad idea.

I'm not sure exactly what rattle they supposedly prevent, the caliper itself rattling against the caliper bracket/holder or the pads rattling. I can't see it as rattling pads as they are firmly clipped in anyway. Either way the front brakes could only rattle when not braking as when braking the pads and calipers are both held tight.
Never tried it myself (although sorely tempted!) but I reckon the worst you could expect is a bit of rattle, as after all that is all they are and all they do, anti-rattle clips.
