Part #3, four different options, you probably want part T2R10146 (coupe) or T2R5420 (vert), both with auto-dim and garage opener.
Don't mind that the search is for a 2015, 2016 will be the same.
Shop around using the applicable part number.
Last but not least you probably will need the garage opener function activated via SDD which a dealer may or may not do for you, some are very fussy about this type of thing some not so fussy.

Garage Door Opener
You don't need JLR SDD to retrofit the garage door opener version. I replaced mine (base "dumb" mirror), and the wiring was all there. Was plug and play.
The one I got (2016 e*ay unit) also had the auto high/low beam sensor camera, now that will require SDD to enable - have yet to get to that.

I picked up one of these for my vert that didn't come with homelink:
It's compatible with everything from liftmaster/chamberlain since 1993. I just keep in the door pocket, but it's small enough to double stick anywhere. There's a few cheaper versions on ebay or amazon. You want to search for Liftmaster 890max or Chamberlain 956ev

The infrared reflective windshield will inhibit most radio frequencies. However, the area just in front of the rearview mirror was constructed without this feature to allow the use of toll transponders or garage door openers. Radar detectors also need to be mounted in that area if they are to be even partially effective.

Rear view Mirror
So sorry for delayed answer, I missed your question...is 2017 Coupe, Base.
Mirror plugged right up. As others have mentioned, it does have shorter range than my other car(s). I do believe it is the infrared / UV coating, as straight on it's great, but beyond 30 feet its iffy.
side note; the mirror I got also had Auto High Beam sensor, and I have enabled it in CCF and it does work

Since yours worked, I can only come to the conclusion that the 2016 wiring doesn't support homelink, or the mirror has a fault. It would be interesting to know the wires connected to your mirror, to understand if there is a difference in the looms! I had kind of given up until I saw your post, as the brochure for the 2016 Coupe says on the option list you can not have auto high beam assist and homelink.
