Just checked the GPS. It’s having some difficulty plotting a route. I’d love to attend.

 

You can either take the intercontinental railroad referenced by one of our ex-Presidents or the bridge that AOC is hawking, depending on completion date of course.

 

The picture is not at the meeting point... ,,,nearest landing spot is Rotterdam Airport.. .. or Zestienhoven military airport if you can arrange for a C130...

A lot of funeral homes in that area. Should something be deduced from that?

 

Nothing else then it used to be outside town and opposite [green bit] is a graveyard. New buildings camer around it
and pastures turned into warehouses. Thats all.

 

I am jealous. I spent a lot of time in North Holland (Enkhuizen). I wish I could join you guys for a run through your beautiful country in those beautiful cars!!! Have a good one!!!

I think if you'd bother to fly down here, someone could be willing to let you be his/er co-driver [ better check this before booking a flight.. ].
I think I could persuade the dealer to lend me a [ second ] car.. ..if needed.

North Holland is quite different from the area we will be driving. North Holland [province] has a lot of wetlands [click to open streetview ] and generally is myriad of dikes and canals, and I agree its really beautifull !
I don't know which direction we will be heading this time, but last time we passed through Willemstad and Zeeland [ province] .

Both are in the area of the estuary of the river Maas, also surrounded by dikes, but no wetlands.

 

Just to clarify, dikes/dykes may not be what you think they are.

The other type we also have plenty, they mostly have the same CROSSECTION as the earth/boulder-type that holds the water out..
