Replacing the stereo unit

I'm tempted by an F but can't stand the touchscreen system as its the same in my Discovery. How hard to replace the unit with an Android based unit? Anyone replaced it?

I'd be surprised if it can be done since the unit is so integrated with other things like parking sensors, climate control, dynamic mode, etc...

Out of curiosity, why would you need to touch the screen apart from selecting the source? All the controls you need to use frequently are on the wheel.
