Wondering if any of you guys that have tracked your F have been running your tyres at?

I see that the Jaguar Track Day document recommends lowering the Pzero's to 31 all round when cold...any advances on 31 all round?

 

At my one-and-only track day, I ran at 36 psi as I didn't have any other guidance - the instructor seemed to think that was fine. But he did mention that the only thing he didn't like about the car was the street tires.

 

I'd think that anyone really serious about tracking the car would probably want to move to SC2's or the like.

I'm personally pleased with Jaguar's tire choice. I think it fits the car. If track were the most important criteria then this is probably not the car I'd buy. Yes, it might be fun to go to some HPDE but so many of the great track tires are pretty horrible in anything other than perfect weather.

 

lots of factors, but yes, when I ran lower tire pressure (33 cold) I thought it felt better...
