I noticed that at high rpm, over 4k, there is a ringing noise coming from from the front of the car. It’s less apparent off throttle because no exhaust note. It reminds me of cymbals being rubbed in a circular manner. The F-Type runs great but just kinda annoying, I vaguely remember my last car, a MB GLA250 also did this at high rpm but less sharp pitch. Is it resonance coming from the engine/trans?

 

Are you sure it’s not supercharger whine?

I’ll try to get a video but the sounds is more metallic and have more reverb than a supercharge whine I think. I don’t actually don’t notice much supercharger whine but this is my first sc car so maybe my hearing is off.
