RIP JustDrive
And the irony of them closing out a support ticket I opened six months ago because the voice control didn't work with their gateway on Tmobile due to IP4 addressing issues - received this today:
Dear Customer,
Jaguar Land Rover and CloudCar have decided to discontinue the development and support of justDrive. The service will terminate on March 31, 2018 due to changes in business strategy and in order to focus on other areas of infotainment.
We want to thank you for being a valued customer and we hope you have enjoyed using justDrive and that we have made your driving experience better.
Thanks,
The CloudCar team
Don't break out the champagne just yet Support Dude, I wish I had enjoyed the better driving experience...

Actually, I enjoyed JustDrive because it gave me voice control, allowed me to one-click an address from my calendar to get the directions on the justDrive nav, and allowed me to play music from Spotify Premium with my voice.
It just sucks that they went all in on this JustDrive thing, and then pulled the plug with no alternative on the horizon.
My other cars have CarPlay, and without JustDrive, I feel like my SVR is DeLorean that took me back to 2007.
PS: I had a 2010 XFR that, when you hit the voice command button and said, "Phone Dial Handset Name", it gave you Siri control. I think it was unintended, but it was awesome.

It sounds like they have the wrong people in a few seats...but hey, that's just me. I'm a disgruntled bystander
